Following the Top Employers Celebration ceremony held on the 20th of January, Massmart is proud to announce its accreditation as a Top Employer for 2022 in South Africa.

On the 17th of January 2023, the Top Employers Institute announced Massmart as a Top Employer in South Africa for the second consecutive year, ranking the organisation in the top 25% of participating employers globally.

Massmart has been rated as a top graduate employer in the 2023 Momentum Metropolitan Students Choice Awards.

Massmart is extremely honoured to have been named overall winner of the Southern Africa Non-Listed Women Empowerment in the Workplace Award at the 2023 Gender Mainstreaming Awards ceremony.

In 2021 Massmart announced a renewed commitment to eCommerce as a strategic growth vector and the owner of Makro, Game and Builders has invested significantly in this area over the last two years.
